Coast to Coast for Clean Water

Day 155---6/5/12

Wow...another day complete. And yet God is so faithful. Weirdest thing ever happened this morning. When I woke up this morning, there was this wet stuff falling from the sky. The people here call it rain. I feel like I may have experienced it before...but it must have been in another lifetime. Well the wind sure was blowing too and the temperature? In the low 40's. Ummmm...freezing! It did warm up quickley though and dry up too. Most of my ride today was downhill with just a few climbs. I passed a camel milk farm and that sure was a sight to see. Oh...and a certain section of hills that looked like it could have been where they filmed "the sound of music." Austria in California? I think so. Only a few days left of this journey. I am so close I can almost smell the salty ocean air!

So, so thankful for your Journey, grateful to God you can see the end in sight, but remember the end is just the beginning :)

Hi, Athena! We just got a call here at my office (Converge Southwest) from Jim back at 1st Baptist Newport Richey in Florida, informing us of your amazing journey! We are working on securing a place for you to stay tomorrow afternoon/evening, etc. What little we know about your story has deeply inspired us today. Blessings and safe travels as you accomplish this incredible feat. We will be in touch shortly.
