San Diego is seriously right there...in numbers it is only 6 miles away from my location at the moment. The hardest thing is being patient and not finishing just yet. I actually could have finished today. For those of you who do not know, the reason I am stalling finishing just yet is that my mother and sister are driving out from Florida to see me finish. BUT...they won't be here untill next tuesday. So instead of going directly to the coast I will be taking a bit of a detour to some surrounding cities and backtracking a bit as well. I guess this is all secretly a good thing too because I do want to finish my last day running. Lord willing of course. Today's ride was exciting though. There was a lot of pretty steep downhill sections. I felt like a little kid on a rollar coaster...kind of exhilarating. I'm suprised at how green it is out here too. I guess I really didn't know what to expect...but after all that desert, I thought I'd never see trees again. I've gotten some good biking advice today as well from a hardcore biker I am staying with and some handy bike trail maps that may help me on my detours. The worst thing that could happen at this point is that I get lost and can't find the beach. That would sure be a dilema. Wow! I really still can't believe how far God has brought me. Just reminising over all the memories of people I've met and times God has supernaturally provided gives me goosebumps. All glory to him!
