Coast to Coast for Clean Water

Day 161---6/11/12

I heard this version of 2 Corinthians 6:10 the other day and thought it was just plain fantastic. "Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing and yet we have EVERYTHING!" This should be the heart of a person who puts their faith and trust in Jesus. No matter what their physical burdens and circumstances...they always have all that they need in Jesus. I needed to hear that verse because I just started reading a book called "Children of Hope," that talks about the HIV/AIDS epidemic. It crushes your heart to hear stories of children who basically have to become adults at such a young age because of not having parents. Isn't it great to know though that when they trust Jesus they have EVERYTHING. great. Today I made it officially into San Diego but I'm still awaiting my trek into the beach untill Wednesday when my familia wil be here. So excited to see them...and Jim made it today. It will be a sweet reunion.

Then you can dip your foot in the Pacific and utter the famous words of Forest Gump, " I think I'm done runnin' now". Hurry home.
